If you try to install ZeroMQ with Ubuntu 14.04 as it’s said by official webiste:
1 |
sudo pecl install zmq-beta |
You’ll probably fail with an error:
1 |
checking libzmq installation... configure: error: Unable to find libzmq installation |
To fix this first you’ll need to have ZeroMQ dev packages, so:
1 |
sudo apt-get install libzmq-dev php-pear |
This should solve problem and pecl install should finish like this:
1 2 3 4 5 |
Build process completed successfully Installing '/usr/lib/php5/20121212/zmq.so' install ok: channel://pecl.php.net/zmq-1.1.2 configuration option "php_ini" is not set to php.ini location You should add "extension=zmq.so" to php.ini |
