If you can’t run Kdenlive and you see this error trying to run it:
1 |
kdenlive: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmlt.so.6: version `MLT_0.9.2' not found (required by /usr/lib/libmlt++.so.3) |
It’s probably because of latest melt update. It’s another one, last I mentioned in past week.
First – to be sure – remove and clean all old Kdenlive data:
1 |
sudo apt-get purge kdenlive |
Than download older version (python-mlt_0.9.2-1build1_amd64.deb) of melt library, form here and if you try to install with command:
1 |
sudo dpkg -i python-mlt_0.9.2-1build1_amd64.deb |
You should get error an error about incompatible versions of mlt and kdnlive. So next just run this to resolve conflicts:
1 |
sudo apt-get -f install |
And Voilà – you get back working newest Kdenlive version with little bit older Melt.
